Parent & Friends Committee

The Parents and Friends Committee at St Joseph’s Primary School work together to support the school and the Vision and Mission directives.  In doing so the P&F enable the provision of a warm and welcoming atmosphere to all the families in our school community.

We believe in supporting each other, working together and sharing gifts, talents and friendships in a Catholic environment for the benefit of our children and the school as a whole.

In conjunction with the leadership of the school, its ethos and the School Advisory Committee, we endeavour to respond to school related needs, foster a sense of community wellbeing and assist in the provision of school requirements. We do this through the coordination of fundraising and social activities which are advertised in the school newsletter.

All monies raised from the Association supports the financial management of the school along with targeted needs which are determined by the school.  These needs correlate to the School's Improvement Plan and developmental strategies.

Ultimately, the support offered to St Joseph’s Primary School is for the benefit of our children. Over the last 5 years, P & F monies raised have significantly contributed to the funding of a school counsellor, literacy and maths resources, playground equipment, sports uniforms and new furniture.

Our membership is open to all parents of our school and we meet approximately once a term. If you would like to come to a meeting or join, please contact the school office.
