At the heart of all we say and do at St Joseph's is the example of Jesus Christ. We pride ourselves on being a welcoming, tolerant and accepting community for all.
St Joseph's implements the Diocesean-wide Religious Education Curriculum called To Live in Christ Jesus. To Live in Christ Jesus offers students logical and incremental learning opportunities that take into consideration the lived experiences of students through a lense of the Catholic tradition. The Religious Education curriculum at St Joseph's is delivered through an inquiry approach which helps students 'recontextualise' the Catholic tradition by connecting Scripture to the world we live in today. Full details of the Religious Education Curriculum can be found on the following website: https://toliveinchristjesus.ceosale.catholic.edu.au/
St Joseph's Primary School is a part of the St Joseph Parish community. Through our connection to the Parish, a Sacramental program is offered for our Catholic students. Sacraments are completed in the following year levels:
A key aspect of our Religious Education Program is our commitment to Catholic Social Justice initiatives. Across the school year, the school highlights various Catholic Social Justice initiatives which encourage students to always strive for a just community, always upholding the dignity of all people.
