Principal's Report
Dear Parents, Guardians and Carers,
What a delight it was to welcome so many grandparents to our school today. The classrooms were full of chatter and smiling faces as children engaged in games and craft activities. Our visitors were then treated to a beautiful morning tea which had been prepared by the Year 6’s with help from Mrs Mulqueen and Bernie. There were over two hundred visiting grandparents, making it a very special day. Thanks to all concerned.
We will be having our first Transition session for our new Foundation students for 2026 on Tuesday, 28th October. There will be two sessions, one at 9.25 am and another at 12.00pm. We look forward to welcoming our new members of the school community.
Year 6D and 6SB as well as Year 5D class have had Water Safety sessions. Unfortunately, we have had to reschedule 5NT due to the weather warning on Wednesday.
Yesterday at 5.00pm we enjoyed Prayer in Pyjamas with the Foundation students and their families. Students came along in their PJ’s and took part in activities with their families to help them engage in prayer. The Parish team facilitated this session with staff from our school assisting. The evening finished up with sharing pizza, always a hit with the little ones. Thanks to all concerned.
It’s been a busy but fun week!
Best wishes
Ros Joyner
Principal
